Since this board is for the family, I think it's fitting to share the family news:
1- Sawsan got engaged. Her fiance's name is Mohammad. He works in Dubai or Qatar. The engagement was in the summer. Inshallah planned marriage is next summer.
2- Omar Hawash got engaged also to Lama. Lama is sister-in-law of Fadi, my brother-in-law :-). They got engaged in October of this year, and inshallah planned wedding is August of next year.
3- My beloved brother Muneeb got engaged also to Tamara Abu Hassan. This was also back in October. Inshallah wedding sometime in the summer if all goes fine.
4- Most of the Arrabi family spent this Eid Al-Adha out of Amman: Teta Om Rashid went to Dubai to visit my uncle Riad. My aunt Om Tareq went with Abu Tareq and Ibrahim to visit Tareq also in Dubai. Dina and Husma made it from Saudi to Duabi for the eid. Also my cousins Farah and Sarah are in Dubai. Farah is working there, and Sarah is visiting. Ammi Zahi stayed in Kuwait for eid. And Ammi Rami, Abu Rabie3, and the family went to Hems. Thus, only my father and Ammi Rasem stayed in Amman this eid.

Aswat Concert Dec 1, 2007
Salam Family,
The few past months were very busy. Part of this is due to Aswat, the very nice community ensemble for Arabic Music. Most of the players have other more formal lives during the week. However, we gather on Sundays and we live in a different world of Arabic music. Most of them are not even arabs, but just very interested in the arabic music - either for change, or for it itself.
We had our biggest and nicest concert so far on December 1st, 2007. I uploaded few videos of the concert:

2007-05 Muneeb's Masters graduation
Mabrook my brother Muneeb, masters in Computer Science from State University of New York at Binghamton (also known as Suny Bing :-))

Last week I had the chance to visit my friends in binghamton, NY (now i live in california... 7 hours flight difference) where I finished my Masters degree in computer science in august, 2006.
Fortunately, the university planned to do the graduation ceremony in that weekend. This ceremony was for the graduate students who graduated in "summer 2006, and spring/fall 2007).
I, along with other 3 friends, attended the graduation ceremony.
al hamdullillah... we had a lot of fun.

Hi everyone..some pics of me and friends in Montreal and at a wedding I went to yesteday ..Khalo Rassim am going to be in Amman Tuesday, June 12 Inshallah I arrive at 6:00 a.m. in the morning...I tried changing the time of arrival but all Royal Jordanian Flight coming from Canada arrive at this time for the summer season..so sorry if its too early in the morning..I guess we'll have breakfast together at tete's...and Khalo Riad Inhsallah am planning on coming to Dubai around June 27 or something like that..am going to call you ofcourse to confirm and c if u need anything from Canada before I leave!!!!!!!!!!! does anybody need anything..!! ok C you all soooooooonn I love you

Hi All..these are pictures with Shadi Jamil the singer, he was in our Embassy last Sunday when we opend 12hrs for the Presidental Referendum, he was in Ottawa to do a concert so he passed by the Embassy to Vote, on his rigth is me and on his let is the Ambassador Jamil Sakr and some employees with me, the second picture is also everyone ith guests..we had fun..c you sooooooon
